WHERE WE FARM
Dharma Ridge Farm started as a small direct market business, named for the plot up on Dharma Road in Chimacum where we first started. Over the past twenty+ years the farm has grown to a sustainable wholesale producer expanding production while still holding our small family farm values. We operate at a much larger scale and are working hard to make our now multi-generational farm a sustaining income for our next generation. With the knowledge that healthy soil supports healthy crops we do our best to maintain and build our soil through cover cropping, crop rotations and reduced tillage when possible. All of our produce is WSDA Certified Organic.
HOME FARM
The Boulton Farm consists of 200 acres located 10 miles north of Quilcene, Washington. Established in 1946 as a beef, hay and timber operation, the farm was protected as agricultural land forever through a conservation easement with Jefferson Land Trust. We were able to purchase the farm in 2017 and it is now the home farm for Dharma Ridge with 101 acres Certified Organic through WSDA and the remaining acres in forest.
GLENDALE FARM
Glendale Farm is a 180 acre historic property established in 1857 in the fertile Chimacum Valley. Protected as agricultural land forever by The Jefferson LandTrust, the farm remains one of Jefferson Counties largest single agricultural properties. Glendale Farm leases farmland to us and other local farmers while pursuing their goals for restoration and long term sustainability. Check out their website below.
